University of Management and Technology (UMT) is Pakistan's leading private university, which offers diverse academic programs.

During an academic orientation, UMT students along with a few faculty members visited Briogene for practical insights into their degree programs' real-world application. BS and MS students of Biotechnology shown a keen interest in the In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) industry.

The visit included an in-depth overview of industry norms and requirements along with a demonstration of few equipment. Discussions emphasized the pivotal role of researchers in driving innovation, especially in the healthcare industry. Emphasis was placed on the necessity of strong industry-academia partnerships for improving healthcare industry of Pakistan.
