Briogene has signed a contract with Government College University to establish and operate a diagnostic and Research Laboratory at the GCUL main campus. The state-of-the-art lab will provide high-quality diagnostic testing services to the university staff and their families, as well as to the students and their families, and the general public at subsidized rates. Additionally, the Laboratory will serve as a platform where students can access advanced equipment for research, hands-on training, and skill development.

Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Asghar Zaidi (TI) expressed optimism that if successfully implemented, this initiative will become a flagship project that not only provides high-quality testing facilities at subsidized rates to the community but also offers a platform for university students to enhance their technical skills. Moreover, the revenue generated from this project will be utilized for advanced research and the development of various departments within the university.

The Government College University is a public research university located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. GCU is considered one of the most prestigious academic institutions in the country. It was founded as Government College, Lahore, in 1864 under British administration and became a university in 2002.
